Performing Arts Scholarship - Theatre Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a theatre student who plans to participate in the college's Stage Company performances or serve in technical production areas. Performance audition is required.

Merit Scholarships

Description

Applicant must be an entering full-time, first-year student. Selection based upon secondary school GPA, SAT Reasoning/ACT scores and class rank. Award amount varies by scholarship.

Art Scholarship

Description

Applicant must have a strong commitment to the creative process both in making art and in looking at historical and contemporary works of art. Portfolio review is required.

Competition Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a first-year student who is a winner of Scholarship Competition Day. Minimum 3.2 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1030 (composite ACT score of 22) required.

Flight Safety International Instrument Refresher Course Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a Whirly-Girl in good standing and possess an Instrument Rating Helicopter to apply. Course consists of 12 hours of academic training, six hours of simulator instruction and will be conducted at the Flight Safety Learning Center in Hurst, Texas.

PEO International Peace Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a non-U.S. or Canadian citizen who is a woman working full-time towards a graduate degree in the college or university of her choice in the U.S. or Canada. Upon completion of her degree program, she must return within 60 days to her own country or to a non-U.S. or Canadian country to pursue her professional career. Applicant must apply online.

Valedictorian Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a high school valedictorian who did not win any other Hope College-sponsored merit-based academic scholarships.

Henry Wells Scholarship

Description

Awarded to applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement throughout their high school experience. Selection is made by the Admissions Committee; recipients generally have a 3.9 GPA in academic subject areas.

Ashby B. Carter Memorial Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be the child or legal dependent of a NAPFE member.

General Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a resident of Van Wert or Paulding counties, Ohio, with a minimum 3.0 GPA who can prove financial need.

Leaven International Student Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be an international student, have a minimum TOEFL score of 530, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be active in high school or college community.

Athletic Award

Description

Applicant must be a full-time student involved in varsity athletics.
