Applicant must attend a South Carolina college and be interested in a career in newspapers. Selection is based upon grades, participation in journalistic activities in college, and recommendations of faculty members. Financial need may be considered.
Kathern F. Gruber Scholarship

Applicant must be the child or spouse of a legally blind veteran and must be accepted or enrolled full-time at an accredited college. Selection is based upon application, transcript, three recommendations, and 300-word essay.
Second Marine Division Association Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be the unmarried child or grandchild of a person who served in the Second Marine Division or a unit attached to the Second Marine Division. Family income is not to exceed $75,000 yearly.
Dean's Honor Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming first-time freshman. Typical scholarship recipients rank in the top five percent of their secondary school class, have a rigorous academic program with honors and advanced placement courses, and have an outstanding record of extracurricular activities and score near the top of the range in a college admission test.
Founders Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming first-time freshman. Typical scholarship recipients rank in the top 10% of the class, have received high college admission test scores, have a rigorous academic program containing honors and advanced placement courses, and have an outstanding record of extracurricular activities.
Need-Based Scholarship

Applicant must be an undergraduate student pursuing a first undergraduate degree. Financial need is required.
Regents Scholarship

Applicant must be an entering freshman student who is a United States citizen or permanent resident. Applicant must be able to demonstrate academic excellence (including strength and breadth of high school academic program, test scores, grades, and other academic criteria).
Merit Scholarship - Tuition Waiver
Description

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident enrolled for a minimum of six hours. Freshman applicant must have a minimum composite ACT score of 22; upperclass student must have a minimum 3.25 GPA.
Freshman Achievement Scholarship
Description

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident enrolled for a minimum of 12 hours, have a minimum composite ACT score of 27, and have a minimum 3.25 GPA.
Transfer Scholarship
Description

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident enrolled for a minimum of six hours, have 24 transferable hours, and a minimum 3.4 GPA. Student activities are also considered.
President's Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be active in three organizations, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum composite ACT score of 21, and be enrolled full time.
