Virginia Frantz and Maurice W. Cogan Memorial Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a resident of the Cleveland, Ohio, area, living within 50 miles of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. Preference is given to graduate of St. Ignatius High School.

Greene County Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a resident of Greene County, Pa., have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. Number of awards varies with number of applicants.

Project BEST Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be an employee or dependent of employee of a construction company or labor union sponsoring Project BEST (Building Efficiency by Striving Together) in Wheeling, W.Va., or Follansbee, W.Va./Steubenville, Ohio, area. Application is available from and should be submitted to Project BEST.

Washington County Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a resident of Washington County, PA, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. Number of awards varies with number of applicants.

Achievement Scholarship

Description

Achievement scholarships are awarded to approximately a third of admitted students who have excelled academically and bring a level of leadership and co-curricular involvement that will have a significant impact at the college. Applicant must have a minimum 3.8 GPA or a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1310 (ACT equivalent of 28). Selection is based upon academic credentials.

Theatre Award - Performance & Technical

Description

Audition, two letters of recommendation, a recent headshot, and resume listing theatre training are required to be submitted.

Academic Scholarship

Description

Automatically awarded to students upon acceptance. Applicant must rank in the top third of their graduating class or have a minimum composite ACT score of 23 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1050). Selection is based upon class rank or standardized test scores.

Disciples Grant

Description

Applicant must be the child of an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister of good standing.

Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Scholarship

Description

Applicant must be a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and have a letter of recommendation from minister.

Amy Shelton McNutt Scholarship

Description

Applicant must have a minimum composite ACT score of 31 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1360) and a minimum 3.5 GPA. Skype or phone interview and essay are required.

Studio Art, Graphic Design, or Art Education Scholarship

Description

Portfolio and personal interview with an art faculty member are required.

Equestrian Science Scholarship

Description

Recommendation from trainer and videotape of riding required.
