NPPF Television News Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled at a recognized four-year college or university, have courses in TV news photojournalism in a program leading to a bachelor's degree, and submit a videotape with examples of work and a one-page biographical sketch including statement of professional goals. Tape should contain no more than three complete stories (total time for all stories: six minutes) with voice narration and natural sound. Applicant must also include a letter from his or her professor/advisor. Award is aimed at applicant with television news photojournalism potential, but with little opportunity and great need.
Reid Blackburn Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school graduate, be pursuing a career in photojournalism, and be continuing in a program leading to a bachelor's degree. Applicant must have a minimum one-half year of undergraduate schooling remaining at time of award. Selection is based upon the philosophy and goals statement in the application.
Bob East Scholarship
Description

Applicant must be an undergraduate in the first 3-1/2 years of college or plan to pursue postgraduate work and provide proof of acceptance to the program. Applicant must submit a portfolio of at least five single images and a picture story. Recipient chosen primarily on quality of portfolio.
Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society Scholarship

Applicant must have attended at least two semesters at an American high school or college. Applicant or his or her parent must be a Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society-assisted refugee who immigrated to the U.S. Selection is based upon academic excellence, financial need, and community activity. Applicants must have immigrated after January 1, 1992.
Association of the Sons of Poland Achievement Award

Applicant must be a member of the Association of the Sons of Poland for at least two years and be insured by the Association. Selection is based upon high school transcript, letter of application, character, and leadership qualities.
AMS Industry/Government Graduate Fellowship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident entering first year of graduate school at an accredited U.S. institution pursuing a full-time course of study in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences over a full academic year.
Meridian Scholarship

Louise Wallace Hackney Fellowship for the Study of Chinese Art

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and must have completed three years study of the Chinese language.
Jefferson Caffery Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum composite ACT score of 30 or be a National Merit semifinalist. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.
